Movies and its relevance to our lives

In our lives, we would see many movies; hear songs enjoy them at that moment. I feel it unconsciously makes u think and changes your thinking. It tells u what are good and what are bad….it really puts u into thinking and it challenges your conscience … it makes u decide what your personality is … it is this which makes you feel the issues and take a side which you feel is right….

For me….the impact of Rajkumar’s kannada movies ( some of them) at least have had a long lasting impact… take the movie BHAKTHA PRAHLADA… in that there is a song.. manava moooole maamsada tadike, idara melide charmada hodike , tumbide olage kaamadi bayake and it continues nava maasagalu holasali kaledu , navarandhragala moolaka kaledu, bandidhe bhuvige ee nara bombe… bidadele vittalana kondaadu ende….. I remembered this recently because my brother Manju had downloaded few videos on the Human body which was produced and anchored by Dr Robert Winston. I saw everything; there were 7 videos of length 45 mins each. It showed what it means to be born and what it means to be dead. Also I remembered the death of my Grandpa. I felt it in real when I saw this video.

After this one more movie was Eradu Kanasu: another movie which talks about love and marriage, one more BHAGYAVANTARU : the love of the married couple. It has influenced me a lot. Though I am apprehensive about love before marriage, though had my own experiences. I really respect that love. But after going through this process of getting the arranged marriage process: I have my own doubts on this love.

One more is PRAYER FOR BOBBY. It’s about a person who is not normal in terms of society. What it happens for that kid when its parents themselves don’t support him? Who does he look into for support? He dies. Then his mother starts digging into issue and finds out that her son should be loved as he is. No one, including god will hate this kid, who was created by the same god. She being a religious person was not accepting her son fearing that god does not like her son. She gets it clarified. We all know.. God is someone is omnipresent and omnipotent. He would not get involved into such petty issues. He expects his children to be happy, peaceful. This movie also has messages that blindly don’t believe in what these bastards; so called religious people preach you. Try to think beyond what is told. It is not gods wants you to interpret these things badly. Religion is a way of life, it is nothing to do with what you are.

There is one more movie BANGARADA MANUSHYA; This tells us how it is required to be patient, have an urge to help others, change themselves to suit to the time n place you are in. One more DO ANKHE BHARAH HAATH. How there were people who needs love and there should be someone to love. Since god cant involve himself in all issues, he creates good people. Be is our old SHIRDI SAI BABA, or RAMA KRISHNA PRAMAHANSA or even Mother Teresa.
