Last few days in my 2nd Organization - Part 1

Well my wait since 7 years has come true now. Probably all these years I was yearning to be free, now I think I am ready to be caged. Well, I used to think that I would stay single, but I did not. I mean i was always wanting to go back to bangalore or abroad. Atleast now i am going back to bangalore to be with my family n friends.

Now that I am engaged to a beautiful girl and would marry in Feb., I made a decision to leave one of the best companies to go back to Bangalore.

As always, you would be apprehensive about the new company to which you would go. It could turn out to be better or worse, nobody knows.

I have resigned here on 30th Nov 2010. Things are really slow here. I had a talk with my manager, HR manager; Delivery lead in a span of 2 days where they only talked about how best it is to stay back. Well I have a personal life too and I don’t want to screw it up. I have also put my fridge and Suzuki access on sale. I wonder I should give them off for free when I hear the negotiations from the fellow IT engineers who want to buy it at so cheaper rate for the items which are not even 10 months old. Well, my opinion of most of the fellows have probably come a notch below 

Life at office is as usual or rather so slow that I tend to get heavy sleep. Couple it with the night phone calls with my fiancĂ© …great combination for sleeping at day time right…

I will see how things would work out here …

Something nasty

Normally we Indians are not into Serving Community. But off late I have seen something very idiotic thing happening at our organization. There would be an email from somebody who would ask for money as one of the vendors is undergoing thorough some operation. I fail to understand why this is needed, as in this case he is from Accenture and as such there would be corporate insurance as well as his own insurance and he is capable of giving the money back to govt after taking loan. Instead we should help those who do not have any source of income and they need this help.

I feel pity of these guys in our organization who think that they are doing a great service; probably in fact they are only serving their interests. This was not the first instance; rather it’s been happening so regularly. Hope in the next organizations, I would not be doing this…….problem is we can’t even say no, I think I should learn to act tactfully in such situations. God forbid nobody should go through these health issues, but they should also not look for free money.. INDIAN SOCEITY IS TURNING TOO GREEDY..
